– The Cobra Pose – The Cobra Pose is highly effective in relieving a headache, as well as helping one stretch out and relax completely. It’s also very healthy for the spine which can get damaged and disfigured by too much sitting. The Cobra Pose can help alleviate these issues.
– The Camel Pose – It’s recommended that one does this pose right after doing the Cobra Pose due to the similar effects of these poses. The Camel Pose is another pose which bends the back and stretches the stomach. The back is strengthened while the thighs get stretched. This pose is also great in helping one take care of headaches.
– The Happy Baby Pose – It’s fairly difficult determining the area from which a headache might be coming from, but it’s sometimes caused by back pain which spreads to the head. If the back has been suffering recently, that’s the reason that might be causing headaches. The Happy Baby Pose is a pose where the hips and lower back get stretched while the mind wanders off to a relaxing state. This will cause the head to calm down and reduce headaches.
– The Shoulder Stand – The Shoulder Stand reverses the flow of blood and diverts it into the brain. Even though it helps with headaches, it is not recommended to people with acute migraines because the increased blood flow to the brain might cause trouble. Only do these poses if you have a headache which doesn’t occur often.
